We are Ashley and Danielle, the faces behind Whispered Dream.
Our story began the way all great adventures do — with a spark of inspiration at a Renaissance festival. In 2012, after falling completely in love with the enchantment of our local faire, we (a mother-daughter duo with a lifelong love of crafting) decided it was time to create a little magic of our own.
We started small, turning feathers, fabric, and sparkle into something special. I focused on whimsical feathered hair pieces and earrings, while my mom brought her talent for textiles to life through handmade drawstring handbags. That same year, we launched our Etsy shop and stepped into the world of handmade artistry.
What began as a passion project has grown into something much more. Today, we’re proud to bring our creations not just online, but to in-person events — connecting with fellow dreamers, faire-lovers, and creative spirits face-to-face.
Each piece we make is a celebration of fantasy, history, and self-expression — perfect for costuming, cosplay, or simply embracing your inner showstopper.
